A Little About Me
Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here! My name is Kristy, and I am a Registered Behavioral Tech at an Elementary School by training, and a Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula, and a Breastfeeding Counselor by choice. After experiencing a traumatic delivery with my first born which included 16 hours of labor, 4 hours of pushing and an ambulance ride for our one -day old baby due to the NICU being overpopulated, I knew I wanted to help pregnant people during this challenging and unpredictable time in their life. This was a calling for me, and I’m so excited to be able to live out my passion. I successfully breastfed both of my children for 2.5 years, so I would like to be able to pass along my tips and tricks with you. I specialize in working with pregnant people In Connecticut and Massachusetts, to help them feel empowered before, during and after birth. I provide consistent emotional, physical, and educational support, and help you advocate for the birth you desire. I honor the uniqueness of every family I work with, and embrace the choices they make. Together we will thrive.
In my spare time I enjoy hanging out with my wonderful husband of 3 years, our two wild boys, and our adorable dog.
My approach
Birth is incredible, life changing, and unpredictable. I believe all birthing people deserve a support person that makes them feel safe, respected, empowered and joyful.
